Robert Kimberly Mason Matteoli Patrick Brown - San Francisco Bay Area Representative, Songwriter, Guitarist

Robert Ennis -- Founder, Lead Vocalist, Rhythm Guitarist and Songwriter

Robert was raised in an alternative co-operative style.  His parents worked within a nonprofit ecumenical institute doing human development projects all over the world.  He received formal voice training in the California Boys Choir and later at Ferrum College , Va. As he entered his teens, his father returned to a fulltime Pastor position within the United Methodist church.  Robert became a P.K. (preacher's kid) overnight.  During that time, Robert became rebellious and fell into drug use and immoral lifestyle.  He actively joined the New Age Movement in his college years, searching to experience "the god within" in a mystical way.  He was active within the Hollywood/Los Angeles music scene in an Alternative Rock band called Wormwood , but gave up that dream in order to serve God
After many years of moral, philosophical and historical study, combined with a deeply prayerful and sincere search for intimacy with God, he discovered the fullness of truth and beauty within the Roman Catholic Church and made his profession of full communion in 1995.
He is a permanent member of the Brothers and Sisters of Charity - Domestic Expression.  Responding to the call of the community's way of life, he devotes himself to an integration of charismatic praise and worship of our LORD, contemplative scriptural prayer - Divine Office- Liturgy of the Hours, and the Sacramental life.  Robert and Kimberly are joyfully married with five wonderful children.
Robert also works for St. Joseph Radio offering EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network),  Catholic satellite programming via Dish Network and Sirius Radio. If you would like more information, please visit. www.stjosepradio.com , call (800). 500. 4556 - ext. 206, option 2 after

Kimberly Ennis -- Background Vocals, Percussionist, CD and Oaks Logo Designer

Kimberly was raised as a cradle Catholic, but fell away to pursue the New Age philosophy.  She and Robert met each other at a Grateful Dead concert. After much spiritual searching, she returned to the Catholic Church and discovered that all she had been searching for was originally offered to her at her baptism.  Kimberly is a permanent member of the Brothers and Sisters of Charity - Domestic Expression.  Responding to the call of her community's way of life she devotes herself daily to an integration of charismatic praise and worship of our LORD, contemplative scriptural prayer - Divine Office- Liturgy of the Hours, and the Sacramental life.  She says. "One of my greatest joys is singing for God with my husband."

I have been working with Mason in public music ministry since November 2005 for Sacred Heart Parish hear in Eureka, Ca. and I am so excited that he has made this commitment to officially join our Ministry Team. He is so much fun to work with and is bringing new life and depth to the music God has given us. He is funny and a very active Evangelist. I am sure the Blessed Virgin Mary is very pleased with his efforts for her Son, His Church and Oaks of Justice. Patrick Brown

I am pleased to introduce to all of you our newest team member Patrick Brown. I have known him since the fall of 2005 when I first heard him playing guitar at the Newman Community Mass in Arcata, Ca. He is a man of God filled with the Spirit of service and dedication to our Lord. I fondly remember praying the Rosary on our knees in front of our LORD in the Blessed Sacrament early on in our friendship. With his commitment to our Lord's true presence in the Church and devotion to our Lady I know he has already strengthened our mission and ministry by his prayers, encouragement and positive feedback. Please welcome and pray for him in this new movement of the Spirit of God!!!

Patrick Brown - San Francisco Bay Area Representative, Songwriter, Guitarist

I was raised Catholic but it was as an adult that I realized how important my faith is to me. As a student at Humboldt State, I joined the Catholic Newman Center. This is a Catholic club for students and community members to have fun, pray and go on trips together. While living at the Newman Center for three years I met some of the most amazing people that really strengthened my faith. Mason Matteoli, for instance, introduced me to the beauty of daily Mass, and the need for evangelizing. Robert Ennis helped me appreciate Christian music for the first time.

Robert, Kimberly Ennis and their children bring an energy to the Catholic movement that is contagious, which is why I am so excited to be a part of Oaks of Justice. I graduated in May 2006 with a degree in Journalism and was hired by ANG Newspapers that same month. Since then I have become more involved in the Church and have joined a lay apostolic group called the Legion of Mary. Through this group, I have been able to reach out to fallen-away Catholics and non-Catholics. I would like to help coordinate Oaks of Justice concerts and retreats in the Bay Area.

~Patrick~
